Stay active at work

Here are some tips on how you can get more activity into your day at work:

  • Take the stairs instead of the lift or escalator
  • Go for a brisk walk at lunchtime
  • If you take a bus to work, get off one stop early and walk the rest of the way
  • Replace some coffee breaks with fitness or desk exercise breaks
  • Keep a pair of comfortable running shoes at your desk, in your bag or in your car and take advantage of any sunny lunchtimes.
